Although it is not one of the most well-known travel destinations in Florida, Sarasota is a fantastic place to visit and has something for everybody from attractions, events to beaches and sports activities. Sarasota is located on the eastern coast of Florida’s panhandle, just south of Tampa. Sarasota Florida is a top vacation destination with some of the most beautiful surroundings in the state.
Some of the most gorgeous scenery in Sarasota can be found at its gorgeous beaches. Sarasota has beaches to suit all desires, whether you’re searching for a crowded beach and fun in the sun or perhaps a peaceful, relaxing beach filled with solitude. Siesta Key beach, with its gorgeous white sands, is rated among the worlds best beaches. Apart from powdery white sand and blue waters, Siesta Key features has tennis courts and volleyball nets right on the seashore. Adventure lovers can go parasailing, jet skiing, or wind surfing.
If you’re looking for something a bit more relaxing, try soaking up the sun rays on the secluded Crescent Beach or Lido Key. Turtle Beach is a perfect family spot, equipped with a playground and picnic areas. If you’re vacationing for adventure you should visit the Bay Island Park which provides sea wall fishing and a scenic view overlooking Sarasota Bay. At the Bay Preserve you can walk an interpretive nature trail and learn all about the local wildlife. You can kayak or canoe at the Bird Key Park or get in some of the best fishing at the Blackburn Point Park. If food is your passion, you will find it in Bradenton, where you can locations experience delicious dining, warm water sailing, and beautiful parks.
