Excellent Baby Crib Bedding Sets Don’t Come With Headrests

Of the types of nursery decor items, which are safe for the baby? Baby bedding can be a hazard to your child if it is too fluffy; infants have not yet developed the motor functions or reflexes to move things out of their way, which can lead to strangulation or suffocation. One serious consideration regarding very fluffy blankets is that they can be dangerous to a sleeping baby, who could move his head into a very fluffy blanket and actually suffocate.

It doesn’t mean that you can’t use that fluffy blanket you received as a gift from your mother-in-law, but it means that you should only use it when you are present and in control of whether or not your baby is putting it in his mouth. The safest type of baby bedding should be perfectly flat much as are sheets. Avoid putting fluffy bedding into the child’s crib, if you absolutely have to use thicker bedding, use it only when holding the child.
